I had a truly wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Chesapeake. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their friendliness and professionalism. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying with plenty of options to choose from, and the hotel’s location is very convenient—close to shopping, dining, and main roads. What impressed me most was the consistent hospitality and attention to detail. The team here really goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel valued. I would highly recommend Hampton Inn Chesapeake to anyone visiting the area. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service.
Stay was great. Staff was very polite. Breakfast items were good. The only complaint I have is that the exterior room doors were very hard to open from the inside and outside making it hard to bring in/out luggage and my grandson's stroller.
Neat, Clean, Affordable. Sure, it’s not 5 star like $750 a night gets you in Vegas but for $125 it’s 5 star. The staff was great, the breakfast (and Angel) was great all in it was a super place. Location is excellent near major freeways and lots of stores. Yes, I had some road noise on my side but I sleep pretty hard so no biggie. I’d definitely stay here again.
The staff I encountered during my stay were friendly, professional, welcoming and attentive. Angel at the front desk is absolutely phenomenal! She encountered me right after the whirlwind of disaster that I encountered at the very beginning of my trip to Norfolk and she smoothed everything out with such grace and kindness. The breakfast attendant (female) I wasn’t able to get her name but she was friendly, attentive and the breakfast station was always clean and stocked. The room was clean and the housekeepers are very responsive when asked for anything.
The hotel is very clean, the staff is wonderful. Bryon the manager is great, very knowledgeable and helpful for anything you’re looking for. Great place to stay.
Good bed, amazing coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Karen kept the coffee hot and fresh--they have lots of varieties to offer, which I liked. They allow pets and did have a simple free breakfast. I would have liked more options, but it is free. Rooms were clean and they had a nice vanity area in the bathroom.
Great stay staff was friendly and provided professional service. They accomodated my late check in although I missed the time and gave me a room that had privacy and was quiet. The room felt safe and clean. The hotel could use remodeling but it wasnt a bad stay at all. Give your staff a raise!!
